haha yay today i was so efficient at work, that i finished my task (typed out a bunch of court transcripts, plus found all the documents they referred to during the case--- found in the many many many stacks of files, photocopied and annexed to the document!) too early, and then slacked from 4pm to 6pm xD hehehe. i read the newspapers, went down to buy coffee and tea for my colleagues... then slacked on fb. HAHA
anw, yayyy spent vday night with my wonderful guides batchmates :):) soooooo long time haven't caught up with them already (like since sec4 for some of them) ♥ had dinner at Bali Thai restaurant in NEX with brenda, sarah buddy, weiqing, joni! haha jiemin came later on after her workshift ended at 9 D: haha nex was really flooded with people and couples with huge balloons and flower bouquets LOL.
im so glad we can talk about nonsense and retarded things! we really talk about very mundane stuff too XD but it's very funny that we can do that anytime anywhere. haha i haven't had a large girls' outing in a longggg time, forgot abit about what it feels like to talk about stuff like *cough* wonderful apps on the phone that help you count ummmm a certain number of days xD LOL and stuff like this and that. found out what a lot of them are doing now also, life is getting so diverse and interesting! i really wonder what will happen few years down the road where everyone will really be working and forging their own paths in permanence (and not like temp jobs where we can all be talking about quitting here and there)
i can't remember when was the last time i had something awesome with my batchies (maybe in end sec 4?) that was when i last rmb typing a :') emotional happy sentimental guides blogpost!
hahaha love them so much... i think without them, as well as our guiding days and experiences, and this culture of warmth and acceptance, i never would have become so much freer with showing affection and love as i am now. the people you hang out with really influence you greatly! behaviour is almost a learned thing. i would never have been able to hug randomly, walk arm in arm, lean head on shoulder (WITH GIRLS! the other gender is as of yet to be experimented on LOL 8D) that kinda thing if i never went thru the guiding life. ♥ not just mere actions tho, i just think i learnt to treasure ppl more (really hopefully!!).
on another note, vday is so funny to observe on facebook xD it's a very diff newsfeed that i observe from when we were still in school! for one thing, all the couples (at least those whose halves arent in bmt or those past that age) are posting pictures of their gifts/fun dates and sweet nothings lol.
for another thing, everyone ELSE who is otherwise unattached, is posting very hilarious fb statuses.... for single guys it usually goes something like "spending forever-alone day with my one true love, my bunk!" and "best vday ever: had to share a shower stall with another guy because there wasn't enough space for all of us to bathe individually"
and for single girls it'd be "spent the best forever-alone day with (insert a galfriend's name)!!" hahaha everyone really makes plans the same way xD
anyway heh, on sunday i brought buddy to the next flea market (as promised!). omggg the deals are just too good already! cannot resist. i bought 3 tops, 1 dress, 1 skirt and 1 shorts for $29!!!!! like OMG. yay now there's more wardrobe variety :)
but anyway to my future valentine (whether one is existent or not in my lifetime),
i hope that i will be able to show you that i love you so, on every single one of the other 364 days of the year, not just vday :)
