Was inspired by jack's blog's holiday posts/pictures!! haha so here goes one of mine :)

Dadddddddd and me on the top of Luhuitou mountain :) LOL why? because the mountain apparently looks like a deer looking backwards (from aerial view). hahaha i have no idea. the chinese seem to see something in everything!

there's also this other saying at the 南山 temple we visited, that on the right there is a dragon and on the left there is a white tiger. LOL then we were all squinting around at the forests around the temple trying to see where the guide was referring to. the chinese really make something out of nothing! there's this random tree out of 10000000000000000x trees in the forest that apparently has branches that look abit like a dragon (so AMAGADDDDDDDD there's a dragon HAHA). Then on the left there's this minuscule white rock you squint very hard to notice, AMAGAD it's a white tiger! And thus a legend is born. LOLOL

this afternoon was a blissful escapist dream come true for around 3 hours. badminton, xbox and a lil bit of soccer with lil kids... tgt with jam today hahaha :) grateful once again :)

just tampered with the blogger html codings! now i finally added the link for comments to be left on my posts =)

realised that this current blogskin didnt have html coding for a comments page... even though my blog settings (on the official control panel) was already set to "always allow comments". hahaha so mafan. luckily for google and self-help sites. hehe

today went JB with parents! visited the JB premium outlets that are constantly advertised on the radio! where (apparently) there are many many many branded stores located in one place giving excellent discounts and stuff. LOL the place sucks lah. So many houseflies everywhere (what exactly is up with Msia and houseflies? lol they were everywhere, the toilets...INSIDE the shops... in restaurants -.-) and the branded shops weren't very great either... Though the Giorgio Armani/ Ferragamo/ Burberry/ Coach etc etc shops seemed well-run (with the exception of the Armani shop which had this crazyyyyy chemical in the air that made everyone feel stinging pain in their eyes... not just my family coz when i looked back into the shop... here and there i see people rubbing at their watery eyes -.- ), besides those... the rest of the shops seemed like the company decided to dump their off-runs and lousier quality clothes (that no one wanted to buy at the normal outlets) there, with little/no organisation, utter chaos and no service.

anyway, bought some freaking nice shorts at one of the more normal shops yay ^^

the best part about today was the food! hahaha. omg I AM PROGRESSING DOWN THE ROAD OF (fatness) D: ate excellent japanese food today at Kampachi Japanese Restaurant (run by the Equatorial hotel group). omggggg damn nice :) hehe, i seriously loveeee green tea brewed with a bit of brown rice (the slightly smokey rice smell in the tea is so DARN GOOD) mmmm.

at night we came back to Singapore and ate at Chili's!!!!! OMG their menu is super amazing. There's so many things you want to eat on it that it's not fair that your stomach hasn't enough space LOL. And everything there is a foodie's dream come true XD hahhaa we shared everything as a family but still had too much! and not a single disappointing dish!

tmrw need to exercise badly or GG xD

today was a really fun day (=^^=) --- that's a face if you didn't notice!

a great outing with amos, chris, jack, merv & yifan (alphabetical order) :D we went bowling, then LAN-ning (L4D2 again!), ate dinner then lepaked around outside Plaza Sing~ Haha long overdue outing planned since before prom, because everyone took turns going overseas...

laughed a lot :D nothing forced there about any of the smiles/laughs :) [not the same can be said all the time with various outings-- you get what i mean]... i guess this overwhelming sense of happiness/lightness/senseless fun exudes naturally when you're around those precious few who accept you (bad and good side and all) :) love you guys! am really glad to be your friend :)

anyway, yay we all got souvenirs from jack & amos!:) Jack's PRETTY planner/scheduler/notebook thingy from korea OMG hahaha, hope my writing in it won't make it less pretty--- feel like conserving it instead of using xD hehe (the guys got some cool sticker thingy for the handphone! i wonder how it works!) and a big bar of choc + awesome BLING (hahahaha) keychain from amos for everyone :)

anyway, bowling was fun!! HAHA talked a whole truck load of crap (as usual!!) and being high/suanning each other over bowling scores LOL. but anw yay getting better! I can't believe i only just realised last last week that you're supposed to hold the ball with the 1st 3rd and 4th finger... not the 1st 2nd and 3rd LOL. hahaha sports -.- sian need mental concentration to do the correct things to send the ball down the middle of the lane but NOT ENOUGH STRENGTH D: dangggg.but fun lah =) amos merv and jack were so much pro-er than the rest of us TSK. at least i was fourth hehe xD (on the second game)

lanning was funny (for me) coz i was totally useless at the start of it.... totally forgot how to play because i never touch since maybe june? Heh or longer ago. And my mental faculties for First Person Shooter games only stretches as far as to allow me to shoot stuff in front of me and follow teammates around LOL. i haz problems finding my way around places~ hmmmmmm -.-''

the arranged/scheduled lepaking was damn lame HAHA (plus gongcha pudding earl grey milk tea yumm~)!

blogging so as to remind myself in the future of the fun times i had in the past :) How quickly we actually forget stuff when we don't write them down! but maybe one day i should stop spamming people (save them reading time) by setting up some microsoft word doc as my computer diary. isn't this too much word spammage? XD

am supposed to sleep now coz parents want to wake early tmr so we can all go JB for shoppinggggggggg!

okay: i really need to learn how to...

1. stick to my resolutions at the start of the post (this post was supposed to be a paragraph long only and the long version was supposed to come up another day coz i need to sleep early LOL)
2. stop randomly interchanging the usage of capital/small letters whenever i feel like it and use proper punctuation
3. stop using smileys so egregiously. it's total spammage~ (well, at least i solved the typing "hahahaha" problem that used to occur in every few phrases xD thru some concentrated effort :P) AND LOOK, there's another 2 more i just typed in this very point. RAWR.

Added 2 new blog mixpod playlist songs on the right :D

1. Tonight by Big Bang

Didn't feel like using the official MV for the song (18 million views hell yeahhhh) even though there's cool props in it, like a black shiny Lamborghini OMFG hahaha because you can't see their faces in the video! So instead this is a live performance video.

Attitude~ (with a capital A) ;D rawr i love that big bang doesn't need to have super-in-synch dance moves or dance continuously thru their songs. Most of the time, after some moves they just jump around on stage (freestyle/act hyper) and do their own thing with their signature swag. (Swag= slang for utter and complete confidence) xD think the slang got invented by fans of BB and sister group 2NE1!

I love the guitar part at around 3.00. though G.D smashed it after that -.- Poor guitar. Haha yifan does G.D's rap parts (the first person to start rapping) quite good IMO... got almost the same tone, but GD still owns. LOL no one can imitate T.O.P's sexy low rapping voice though hehe (the other rapper, with fake white hair) haha Big Bang songs are so addictive. Jack, Yifan and me were happily singing their songs while we were all cycling last monday (helps you while away the boring long distances XD)

2. Act Like Nothings Wrong by T.O.P.

It's mostly a rap-like song but the intensity in it (gosh :O ).

The best turn around (change in mood) of a kpop concert ever--- around 3.30min of the video. Damn cool omg.

And the youtube comments make me ROFL. Hahaha "The only man in the world who can make playing a harmonica so sexy" HAHA. That occurs at around 4.30 i think.

so kim jong il died yesterday and everything (newspapers/television/facebook/almost everyone in north korea) is obsessed over his death.

lol "people are in fear of being arrested for not showing enough grief" such a funny line right there. hahaha explains the out-of-control and over-exaggerated antics of the N.Korean citizens wailing on the streets/pounding on tables & the floor/sobbing uncontrollably etc etc.

anyway i just found out about this site from fb. it shows many many many pictures of Kim Jong Il Looking At Things. somehow, the humour is so dry, i can't stop myself from wanting to laugh.

on to other things.

dang, running really is detrimental to the joints/bones D: i have this irrepressible pain in my left hip/back that is connected with my left leg. sian, was rushing to pick up the phone earlier this morning, and my left leg almost buckled beneath me when i stepped off from the top of the 3-step staircase in my house. argh.

these days i have to stop running/jogging at around 6km (the 8th round around my 800m house "track") because my knee/ankle (left or right or both) aches, not because i am breathless or tired. :( not good.

Just watched this vid... Quite touching and an interesting look at how people react in such situations as well.... What would you do if you see a fellow member of the public verbally abusing a mentally-handicapped person (such as one with down's syndrome)? Would you stand up for him/her to them?
A social experiment

It's interesting how they acted out the scenes with different antagonists (ie. a woman/a threatening looking grown man/a teenager) to see the different reactions (stand up/not to stand up for the mentally disabled guy). I really don't know what i'd do... sure, i think i'd tell off a fellow teenager.. but would that resolution change if the teen looked like a gangster who'd call his gang to come "settle" (AKA stab with a knife) things with me? would i tell off a threatening looking man who looks like he might just knock the living daylights out of me? Hmmm, i'd like to think that i'd do it no matter what though...

today was trying on clothes (at home) to bring on family trip to hainan...
the good news:
hahaha yessssss i still fit into all my jeans that i bought since sec2. And it even seems like there's even a bit more extra space (just a little).

the bad news:
the length is still perfect..... WHICH MEANS I DIDN'T GROW MUCH TALLER. *fuuuuuuuuuu meme emoticon face* FML ahahhaha.

most of my homies and sms buddies have left for their holidays overseas! luckyyyyyyyyyy omg, all going to such cool places.

hahaha am feeling like ive retreated into some hermit shell the last few days, spam-watching dramas in my room! and not many ppl to sms for fun/msn.

i wonder if this is what it'll be like when a large portion of my day-to-day-contact buddies leave for ns!! danggg.

hope we don't lose touch tho :/ (i've been thinking about that since j1 actually... on occasion)

hahaha did i mention... one day a few weeks ago, i was watching tv, and there was this NS promo video playing. it was really really good (as compared to some others ive watched before, that seem really contrived and cliched). i felt so touched after watching it (a combination of good intense music, touching scenes and interviews with real NSmen) lol, proud of you guys who are going to serve the nation!!! RAWR. may the safe, peaceful times not be disrupted during their period of service tho :X

kay anyway, leaving on the 21st, flight in the aftnn around 1pm :)

just cried non-stop for 20 minutes of my drama episode. omg. and this was just the second-last episode... there's still the last one! which will definitely be another cry-fest.

crap im so screwed. hahahhaa.

i think watching pple cry makes me cry a lot faster than just sad ideas/plot. no wonder i didn't cry for Apple of My Eye.... because the characters weren't crying.

sometimes i really wish i can lock my room door much like my bro does 24/7. just so you can't burst in 10 times per half hour haranguing me about every little thing. i. really. cannot. stand. this.

if i raise my own opinion as an opposing viewpoint to your view, it sets off another whole long endless diatribe.
so now, i don't say anything but "mmm" and "okay".

if i show the least bit of impatience, i get another earful about it.
so now, i don't show any emotion on my face.

one sentence can be stretched into a 15minute long discourse, why? because it's repeated over and over and over again. oh maybe with different sentence structures. wow. at the end of my tether.

and the best thing is, it's not even about an important matter.

long planned class outing today haha... but coz a lot of people were overseas/busy... in the end went cycling at ecp with jack, merv, yifan, chris today :) Sad that sarah buddy couldnt come D:

we cycled from the bike rental near burger king all the way to changi village and then back! OMG lol my bro said he calculated with his bike's speedometer long ago, and the distance is like 40km (for both there and back combined) :O YAYYYY we cycled so much today! My thighs are aching like crap now tho :O Cycling is soooo not my thing! Hahaha halfway i was wishing i was running instead! Running evenly makes your legs ache, not the thighs only (damn concentrated, cannotttt tahan). But haha blasting out music from phone and singing along really helps lift your spirits/makes you not concentrate on the ache in your legs and makes you cycle faster :D

hahaha jack was so nice :) treated all 4 of us (5 including himself) to dessert after lunch today! IT WAS OMG SOOO GOOD. Hot chocolate lava cake on top of a bed of vanilla ice cream (in a cup). So sinful, but delicious TTM :) hahaha the dessert was not cheap somemore ehh, haha so generous :) one day i will learn to be as generous & giving like that :D

anw, then after that we went my house to play xbox! this Dead Or Alive fighting game that they loveee so much HAHAHA. i played it so much last time, so not that big a kick lah, but still quite fun :D then played a bit of dance central 2 :D (yayyy i borrowed it from jack, so i can play at home while he goes flying off on holiday :D)

anw, sadly couldnt play much D: because i had to make them go to parkway to eat dinner (without me D:) coz my parents and i had to go to my uncle's wife's mother's wake (may she rest in peace and be happily/peacefully transitioning to the next phase in life... be it reincarnation or heaven (whatever you believe in) ).

it seems to me, that my closeness with certain friends seem to follow a zero-sum game pattern. if i add "more" to a certain friend, another one will "decrease" in turn. (Reminds me of Sims -.- where making your friendship level to 100% with one sim, will cause all the others to decrease to low percentages)

i dunno why D:

but maybe it's because, some people who i pour in much effort to connect with (sharing vids on msn, smsing to share something etc), are so used to me initiating, that they dun really do anything by themselves. So the moment i happen to shift my so called "focus" to another friend (perhaps sharing some newly discovered common interests), the former ones sort of disappear and gradually we become more like strangers once again. I'm quite sad to see that happen :(

Many of those i keep in good terms with (even though we may not talk everyday) are those who initiate as much as i do.

I feel sad about those who drift :( But at the same time, some part of you wonders what you mean to them if the moment you stop contacting them is the very same moment interactions seem to cease... that they dun miss your presence one bit at all? So what. I am some new way of passing time, a hindrance/a bother? Someone to entertain under duress when they seek your company? Someone who you only answer out of politeness and too-niceness?

I am NOT going to be that person.

And it is indeed quite hard to maintain very good rapport, if you have to wait 5 hours for a single sms reply.

abercrombie & fitch have a damnnnnnnnnnnn ingenious advertising campaign. Omggggg. Somewhere in Singapore this aftnn at the A&F store, some shoppers might think they have died and gone to heaven ;D (HAHAHA im being exaggerated of course, but OMG)

Hahaha they are called shirtless greeters (they wave & take pictures with pple who flock to the store nn prob get paid for it too, just for looking gd tsk) Some locals are featured in the line-up, after they were chosen from auditions held last week i think... Hahaha super good advertising, the only way i heard of this was because on FB, at least 5 girls posted this link/photo :O :O

holy crap, nn it's going to return again tmr! *thinks hard* ;D

Sushi Go Round

HAHA i loveeeeeee this game! so stressful hahaha rolling sushi and ordering ingredients for customers! (stressfullllllllll but addictive XD) was playing this addictive game on huiyi's ipod during slpover~! try it when you're free :D

sighhh the computer version not so niceee. it's better to play on ipod touch and iphone. haha sadly i have neither~~

EH OMG suddenly i feel like playing SIMS & this old cd game i used to have called Zoo Tycoon. lol it's damnnnnnnnn funnnnnn. Like you build the whole zoo from scratch by yourself! You build the enclosures for the animals, then if you're having lions, you'd have to choose the correct habitat (i.e. savanna grassland floor and the trees/foliage that that specific animal likes etc etc) it's sooooo hard to get the animals 100% happy. haha then you build stuff like caves for the shelter, and put enough males and females tgt LOL. Haha then besides making the animals happy, you need to make the customers happy... so you get to build pathways and observation decks for the visitors, diff themed restaurants, can place the best number of dustbins/toilets/lamps/burger stands/hotdogstands/ etc etc around for the visitors... there's even playgrounds/ fountains/statues you can place around ur zoo to make the visitors rate your zoo very well.

LOL such detailed games. i likeee. suddenly feel like playing! (oh and sometimes if you really cant make a customer happy no matter what u do, you pick him up and throw him to the lion/shark etc) HAHAHA (Y). oh you can make prehistoric parks i almost forgot, can have dinosaurs~ so fun. with electric fences!

HEHEH thank gdness i have a cheatcode for unlimited money, or the zoo game wont be so fun HAHAHA. cough ;D

today i had the weirdesttttttttt feeling of deja vu.

i remember long ago earlier this year i had some dream about looking for jobs online...there was a whole lot of anxiety to go with that too, but i cant rmb much about the dream alr... except that it wasn't a feel-good one!

then today i was scrolling thru the bazillion jobs listed on the BrightSparks portal, when one of them i clicked just hit me with a ton of bricks (utter DJV) omg. like the same location (alexandra), same scene with me staring at this white comp screen.... lol but actually now its all blurry again so i cant rmb well.

ah well.

yesterday was fun! :D went to kbox with miranda, huiyi, kenneth, syakir, dj (5hours worth omgggg for only 6dollars XD because we have kbox discount woohoo!) then ate dinner at Fig & Olive (1 for 1) but gooodddddd Mediterranean food! Then we went mir's house to sleepover :D Sadly syakir and dj left like around 11pm -.- (dj because he has some bday party in the morn wth, while syakir was genuinely really sick... yingyao didnt turn up in the end coz he's sick too, while waichoong didnt join us till morning because like the blur king he is, he fell asleep at home???) So in the end, it was just kenneth & huiyi & mir & me hahaha. Watched a whole bunch of Friends episodes. I swear the scriptwriter is an utter genius. Every. Single. Line. Was. Freaking. Hilarious. Idk how pple can write such good stuff. ahhhhh.

Must. Look. On. The. Bright. Side. Of. Life.

Though it's holidays and A's are over and im freaking happy.... I feel this cloud of worry hanging over me, like what to do now? must be productive but don't know what to do.... -.-'' rawrrrr.

haha at any rate, im learning how to cook :D was cutting cabbage and onions just now. OMG I HATE ONIONS. stinging eyes *sadface* at any rate, cooking is quite fun! just that my mum is abit luo suo! but okay.

nw there's so many things to distract myself with, i forget to blog~~

prom was fun!!! idk why some don't like prom/ events like these. hahaha i dunno why i get so high from camwhoring, talking to random ppl and watching performances (dances!!!). reminds me a little bit of boonlay events, where after all the hard work and stuff that goes into making sure the event goes smoothly, we indulge in a bit of camwhoring and highness at the end. :)

anw, after prom chalet was fun :) 5 of us (sarah, sandra, rox, joo) stayed from monday night (after prom) till wednesday morn at costa sands chalet! Quite fun lahhh xD ate loads of junk food, watched tv, lazed around, played cards, went down to downtown east/ehub to bowl and then watched 那些年，我們一起追的女孩 on tuesday midnight! Nice show!! Just that i felt it was a bit short.... was quite surprised that it ended so fast! LOL at the vulgar parts -.- so exaggerated!!! But the main actor was like (Y) damn hot. hahahhaa, all of us were fangirling! but surprisingly, though i cry sooo much for every single movie (yes, even comedies and stuff like happy feet), i didnt have tears running down my cheeks for this show. Weird :/ haha maybe it's too short, or my tears are triggered off only by pple crying in the movie, and just not the plot (which does leave you with a wistful depressed feeling inside because it wasnt a happy ending!). Haha sarah and rox were crying on my left and right XD or maybe i cried too much while watching The Notebook, and now i dun feel anything yet! hahaha

Lol had an epic convo with sandra after the movie. We were discussing how it seemed just a little fake! Like the girl's reason for not revealing her feelings to him was so.... ugh?? Im sure, after the "chase" is over, things might change abit, but thats not a reason to not try right. and then LOL we were talking about the groom. He's sooooo old looking tskkkk.

Angie: At least, they could have made the groom better looking/younger so that we won't feel so bad that she's marrying him right!
Sandra: Yea lor, then the kiss scene will be hot guy kissing another hot guy. WOAA *loudly*.

And then we both started laughing like nobody's business. maniacs. HAHAHA. took the words right outta my mouth!! Yayyy my sheep is learning XD

At night, we went abit high/crazy. we like set up some photo taking studio like place in the chalet, with not bad lighting and background! then we all sat on this bench (many stools put tgt) and started doing the class guys' smiles/expressions!!! HAHAHA. so we took pictures of all 5 of us doing the Jack smile (that means the smile-so-hard-until-eyes-cannot-be-seen ones xD), the Amos smile (like in our j1 class photo), the chris teow expression, the yifan gay look with the tweety bird face, the yongjin looking-far-away-im better than yall-pose-with-a-straight-line-instead-of-a-smile look. HAHAHAHA. oh me and sandra pretended to be kenmin with sarah being yizuo. LOLOL put our hands in front of her torso, just like how kenmin always does to random guys like jack/yizuo and then pretended to be kissing her. haha stomach pain from the laughing. we wanted to do the mervyn smile! but his smile is abit like jack's, except his eyes close even more pronouncedly into ^^ and we were already failing at doing jack's smile! so i think we combined the jack&mervyn smile. hahaha. (idk if we're uploading or not.... hehe)

i can imagine the guys going "omg yall damn bastard" LOL XD but really, no offense meant at all! We were saying all the expressions are damn unique and cutely funny! laugh until want to cry, because all of us quite fail at doing some expressions! we actually wanted to use eyebrow pencil to draw on certain facial features like chris teow's eyebrows for the chris teow expression.... but decided it was too much trouble xD then we left our glasses on for the guys with glasses etc!

have been slacking for the rest of the day xD yay freedom.

yayy got my hair highlights today :) at first i wanted light brown highlights... but because one of the ladies in the shop (the assistant) told me that red was the best colour to match with black, so i chose red/violet (a darker shade it's supposed to be, but its actually quite bright :O)

Had a very interesting convo with the hairdresser (this 20-something ish guy) about kpop HAHA. and we were having a convo in chinese at the start, then i said in passing that my chinese sucked, then he said his was too. im like -.-, why do u even start talking to a customer in chinese first then? especially if the customer is younger than you and prob speaks english better than their mother tongue (hahaha the sad state of the mother tongue of the younger generation eh!)

anyway, yay mum was so in praise of the highlights (she says they're damn nice) so she's paying for it :) hahaha recently, when me and mum's interests align, we have a fun time! Like when we went shopping in vivo on saturday :D wonderful place to shop man, has everythinggggggggggg, haha she was so pleased that i brought her there, if not we'd end up shopping at parkway parade -.- we were looking for my dress (found too many wonderful ones! haha hard time deciding). siannn there was this UBER wow dress that i loved, my mum loved, the cut was beautiful, the colour was pretty, but it was kind of revealing (more so than usual) and i need to exercise moreeee before i can wear that without low self esteem HAHA. sighhh. so didnt buy. took a picture in all the dresses i tried on tho :) nice dresssss. hahaha my mum says she'll buy me if i lose the weight i target, because she knows i totally wont wear it unless i do. haha let's see if that will ever happen~

Im still up, even tho prom's tmr because my nails are drying. HAHA OMG D: hurryyyyyyyyyyyyy.

it's quite obvious

i don't have a chance with you.

today i heard reallyyyyyyyy good news from jordan buddy! (more like, his good news). am so happyyyyyyyyy for him! hahahahahha totally felt like a proud parent HAHA (and i told buddy so) :D after all the griping/complaints/stories and advice i doled out to him over the last year, he finally got the girl of his dreams. LOL literally what a cliched phrase haha but true. i've never known anyone of our age go to such lengths and efforts for anyone that much. hahaha oh wait, actually i have seen on FB/online but i dun actually know those ppl. really korean drama-worthy stuff.... but anyway, omg the only happy/ awww so sweet thing i heard the whole day. haha but anw maybe the point im trying to make is---- perseverance is a powerful thing!

but in the face of things that depend on human free will, then there's really nothing you can do.

like how i failed to manage to persuade my parents to let me go overseas with friends, yea, even though i discussed so nicely and reasonably too. and like how you can never make close friends with some you really wish to... that kind of thing.

i think, it's more like the perseverance to not let anything knock you down and keep you from starting again.

but anyway, i had a real horrible day today :/ wasted trips, and excessive public transport. Oh meeting up with sarah buddy, rox and joo was quite fun :) [at around 5 pm] when we weren't being annoyed by dresses... but the rest of the day was ugh. i guess im too tired to rehash everything here, makes me feel quite annoyed. and those who i want to talk to, shld sorta know it alr.

hmmm, first day after A's and i feel more stressed/annoyed/frustrated than i have in the entire As period. actually i was quite slack and relaxed during As now that u think about it. (oops?) ._.
