OMGGGG UNDERWORLD 4 Awakening. WANT. TO. WATCH. VERY. BADLY. omggg

The main char is fricking cool omg. Kate Beckinsaleeeeeeee! Haha real vampires at last, coupled with awesome-to-goodness fight scenes and action sequences. this movie's about humans waging an all-out war against the 2 immortal species (vamps & lycans). Haha which is actually a much more plausible scenario then them falling in love *cough* Anw, I am always amazed at the wonderful effects in the Underworld movies. Amagad damn cool seriously. Real vamps, not lousy twilight movie crap (at least the twilight books were entertaining because you could let your imagination do half the work for you xD). HAHA some youtube comment was :"comparing twilight and underworld is like comparing emo carebears to jack the ripper" HAHAHA.

Seriously, I think the new FB apps (that popped up rather recently... during the post-prelim period), those article readers (such as apps like: The Guardian, Straits Times, Yahoo News, Washington Journal Social Reader) are soooooooo filled with interesting articles haha. Though to be honest, theyre abitttt like tabloids. except not about celebrities, but about a lot of random stuff that interest people. (and the best part is you get to see what stuff your friends are currently reading/buzzing about)

So impressed: This Chinese student built an imitation ipad from scratch for his friend. Using 500 yuan (165 SGD) LIKE OMG. hahaha just from reading manuals/watching videos on how to make a tablet pc. Omg the chinese are really good at doing that. Read here. It looks pretty cool too. Damn smart kid. [And don't worry, i set my links to open in a new tab/window. So just click away]

And then there's this one about a coma patient who was stuck in his body for 23 years with the doctor's mistaken diagnosis... everyone thought he was unresponsive but actually he was inside screaming. Poor thing D: Read here

I read some other articles about the horrible war crimes that go on in the Middle East right now, like male rape. :/ shit that article was really very depressing. Males in those countries can't even seek help, because they are stigmatized by the society that views males as having to be able to defend themselves, or they aren't fit to be called that at all. Not only the shame and the segregation that would come with admitting what happened to them, but they are stuck with physical pain for years. Ugh.

And then today my mum told me about some refugees from Sudan, fleeing across the Egyptian desert in a ditch attempt to reach Israel to start life anew.... And then they get captured by the bedouins who roam the desert. The lucky ones get sent to work in farms/blah blah with little food, no pay and daily beatings. The tragic ones (a majority) get murdered, harvested for their organs (kidneys) in mobile clinics. Some caravans where "doctors" cut them open, take out their kidneys to be sold to the city hospitals in Cairo and then dump the bodies (still living, and under anaesthesia (so they wouldnt struggle)) out into the desert. Where they would die a few hours later. :/

What the shit lah. "Doctors". Those in the caravans can't be called that, the only title they deserve being called is scum of the earth. Even those in the city hospitals who don't question where the people selling them the organs, get the organs from... All they care is that the kidney they pay 5000 dollars for, can reap them over a 100000 from the rich patrons who come in, desperate for a life extension of another pitiful 10 years or so. How do they live with themselves? And humans really are their own worst enemy. Hai so depressing. This was only discovered by the world when there was some news broadcast because people discovered mass graves with every single body sporting a gash at the kidneys that was hastily sewn up to prevent guts from spilling everywhere.

Okay.

Anyway, there's nothing like being productive :D Today totally did a whole lot of MCQs. More than if i had stayed at home for 4 days straight. Hahahahaha. Yay! :) I can't believe this is like the hardest ive studied in quite a while. SHITTTT. Sigh, hopefully i can make up for my earlier follies with the mcqs. Tsk. Shall not give up hope. I think mcqs also so muchhhhhhh more fun to study. You can concentrate hard and do it while timing yourself with others, then after that still can slack/eat good food/and slug it out debating over the answers later (better than stoning at the paper yourself trying to figure out what went wrong!) Yay i like having a study buddy :D

anyway, if i stayed at home it'll be like this: Wake up real late, troll through tens of thousands of videos as pre-starting-work entertainment, realise it's time for lunch, eat, enjoy some 3 hours of post-lunch-slacking-mood-entertainment.... realise i should try to do something, do 1 qn, feel sleepy, sleep for the next 3 hours. Dinner! Then indulge in some post-dinner entertainment. 10pm, omg i haven't done anything, okay does work for 15 minutes. Hmmmm, too late to do anything, let's start afresh TOMORROW! Then it's gdnight world from there..... (alternatively... indulge in 3 hrs more of pre-sleeping entertainment and realise that it's now 2am) HAHAHA.

Ahh, i feel like watching something, but idk what. Maybe i should get started on writing out my to-slack list after the hols. But im actually feeling quite lost, at least guys have NS, so they should play ttm before they go in..... Gals need to find something concrete to do with their time... siannnnnn IDK what to do. I don't like the feeling of having freedom, but knowing you have to do something else impt with it as well besides slacking, but don't know how/ don't feel like doing anything. At least secondary sch holidays, you spend it without any worry about where/what you're going to do next, coz "next" is just the subsequent level of schooling. Haha but at any rate, can't wait for it to arrive all the same :)

shall type out my to-slack list (just the ones that contain purely slacking things hehe) soon.

new blog song!! :D love ittttttt. Test Drive by Jin Akanishi (Ft. Jason Derulo).

Haha i only have 2-3 jpop/kpop male idol obsessions (I AM DISCERNING HAHA cough) really really, some fans fangirl over everyone -.- hahaha but anyway, i have good taste man! the only one out of 6 idols i deemed worthy to fangirl over in KATTUN (jap boy band with 15 consecutive #1 singles), made it to the USA!!! under the Warner music label ~ so thus he gets a collab with Jason Derulo. yayyy so happy! it's a catchyyy song. The only problem is he doesn't show his gorgeous eyes or hair until the last 2 seconds of the video D: siannnn. haha nor his sexy dancing. ah well. there's other videos to drool over ;) i suppose

I cleared up all the other random songs in my blog playlist. there's only a few left now~... I really really really wanted to put Big Bang's Haru Haru (which is the omfg most awesome song ive ever heard). Even during secondary sch when i thought very lowly of korean songs and the korean language in general, this song was the only one i liked. The other kpop songs i listen to now, are all very very catchy and electronic (club beats are darn nice to listen to, coz u feel so rawrrrrrrr) but this one has both catchiness without much electronic beats, a beautiful melody, un-auto-tuned vocals (a rarity), a sad story and a VERY gorgeous interweaving of singing & rapping. (T.O.P totally raps like a boss).

Listen Here. 22 million views can't go wrong :)

***
Yesterday marked the end of the written papers. And i can't help but feeling i screwed up big time D: I've never had such bad bio papers done in MY LIFE. D: siannnn, what's the point of choinging soooo hard and doing good for bio papers in regular sch time when i hand up DAMN BAD bio papers for freaking A's. amagad. sigh. and Econs. Gosh, those essays were like a bunch of crap and smoke and i feel like i don't even rmb half of the crap i wrote in it, which is bad. coz if i write without thinking, the quality will be !!! (considering that when i write while thinking, it's not that great even.)

Ah well. oh but dinner was FUN :D slacking around, talking crap, making sick puns (too much of  a habit to kick xD)

Yay nothing makes me feel better than running :) Just came back from pre-dinner jog (6km :D) around my house. just that i hate running past pple my age (all those VJ kids who keep coming my condo's restaurant to eat dinner), coz it's like -.-'' paiseh. Like they don't need to run, but i have to D:  Haha. running past kids eating ice cream/slacking around and frolicking just makes me think "enjoy it while you can" and running past adults exercising makes me go "woa, hopefully i can remain fit at that age"... but not pple my age tsk. Haha last week friday went to run at mcritchie with jack after studying in sch! 6km give or take, but i was omfg walking so much *ashamed of myself*, walked at least 50% ~.~ haha poor jack had to jog so slowly. then we see all these angmohs running past, middle aged but omggg can see well-defined muscles and toned lithe forms. DANG.  but anyway, im excused, i always pick the worst times ea month to go run lol. today was much better, ran at least 85% of the 6km.

Today I think i ran into this girl (same age) who was my "enemy" in pri sch. LOL and she still lives in my block. Her mum and my mum had some disagreement over something during her older sister's  and my bro's time, LOL and apparently i thought she didn't like me, but actually she thought i didn't like her (and was always frowning at her) OOPS, haha pri sch dramas. But it's quite funny. Coz their family always turns 360 DEGREES around and walks away whenever they see us. Which is really really laughable, because can you imagine the mum? middle age and a proper lady but she about-faces when she sees little old pri sch me walking down the same path. HAHAHAHA.

running is awesome. you get such good deep sleep later at night :) all forms of physical activity do that i guess~

T.O.P.
T.O.P.
T.O.P.

HAHA my new fangirl obsession. Shucks, jack was totally right: hahahha T.O.P is the coolest of Big Bang members alright. Omgggg. (actually you already heard his low voice in the Lollipop soundtrack on the right menu bar.. main rapper!!). His rapping & beatboxing is omggg (Y) good, used to be an underground rapper in Korea, then got discovered by YG Entertainment but failed the auditions coz he was too fat (:O).... determination: lost 40kg in a month? and went back to audition. ahha YG almost missed out their top male grp's rapper (and the object of fangirl obsession everywhere) hehe.

forgive my fangirl spammage of photos. omg he totally can pull off the pimp/badguy-look.

Together with the good-agent look (lol just like his acting role in some popular korean drama)

I'll buy whatever he's having~

combined with the cute/pouty lost-boy look (in this LG commercial)

HAHA why is the world's distribution of looks so uneven seh. LOL and i think the koreans are superrrrrr smart. Nixon camera, LG, etc etc various drink & handphone & electronics companies all use pop idols to sell their products! But at least their tv advertisements are so interesting and amusing, you won't find it a waste of time to watch in between programmes. They dance and act cute over a DRINK! haha -.- so much effort, but so memorable.

his sharp features aren't all just coz of the eyeliner (which rocks :O), he modelled in a Calvin Klein ad for their winter wear! omgomg. haha i totally went thru alot of trouble for the large versions of these pics:

OK. i realise this is the longest picture containing post ive ever posted on a single topic/person. HAHA OOPS. blogger will rue the day they ever let me discover the pictureeee function :D

I remember in Sec 4, i used to have obsessive spammages like this, and then i spammed becky (sometimes, huanying) ALOTTTT with random pics of stuff, like cool crazes in japan (dollfies or damn nice cosplaying i came across) and alot of random KATTUN (a japanese band) youtube links and comedic videos and pictures and nice songs. HAHA. i think im quite a tiring presence sometimes xD hmmmmmmm.

Joshua Bell Plays at the Washington Metro

Omg, one of the most interesting articles I've read in forever. Do you think you'd walk past a world-renowned violinist (literally claimed "the best classical musician in America" and whose concert tickets sell at hundreds of USD) if he was just standing in rush hour crowds in some packed mrt station?

The article also comes with videos of certain notable moments (they helpfully highlight the passerby whose behaviour they're analysing in that paragraph). haha wowwww. i wish i was there, wonder what i'd do/ whether i'd notice.

Hmm actually, i think i'd notice that the guy is one heck of a violin god, but i wouldn't put money, coz i never do, and ill walk slowly past i think (coz it'd be a bit weird to stop-- unless i really got nowhere to go). Sometimes, some street performers really sound quite good. Like the voice super nice & rich and their guitar skills quite professional.

Long overdue post!

Of A's so far:

Woa the 3-paper day was such a tiring day, went home and had to force myself not to sleep so i could do math.... stopped work at 11.30 hoping to get enough sleep for P1 the next day, but ended up lying in bed for 2hrs :O What the heck. Sigh was so tired too. I think and worry too much alr! Anyway, hmm math was okay i hope, overall. P1 was slightly scary. Like the MI qn is supposed to be a give-away but it WASNT! Hehe cheated abit for one part at the start, but otherwise could do :D yay, but aiyah, don't want to check answers alr, damn scary. Haha practising really made me improve... but ah well, it's over. GP was hmmmmm, sian i hope can do well seh, i feel like i totally didn't study enough for it (sacrificed it abit for chem/math) ended up doing the environment essay which a whole lot of pple did, and they probably mugged damn good quotes/examples and stuff for it too, compared to my smoking on the spot! Though it's damn funny, i used examples of things we read in school, like some parts of the econs case study on rare earths HAHA tsk!

Of toys:

HAHA i flipped through the thickkkkk Toys R Us catalogue that they send to every house for the mega christmas sale! So nostalgic. It's already nearing december... I remember last time me and bro used to look through the catalogue for hours hahahaha and this period is the mega-play-alot period coz it's the december hols amagad. haiz. Kids toys are still quite same.... there's the PlayDough that i alwayssss alwaysss wanted, HAHA but i realised they always cheat you with the box covers. They tell you "Barbeque madness" or "Waffle Paradise" or "Icecream Parlour" and show you all the wonderful food you can make with playdough.... but actually it's impossible! (Yessss, i spent many hours staring at the box trying to re-engineer their creations while looking at my own tools) You don't have the same moulds and colours as they do-.- hahaha a business of playing on the unrealistic expectations of kiddos :D

Then there's barbie. haha back when i wasn't so influenced by my bro, used to wish and wish for barbie dolls (had only 1, compared to the friend i totally envied who had a whole shelf full, but her mom didnt let her play with any of them except 1, coz they were for collector's purposes! so i guess we were the same after all haha oops) Woa the clothes are soo expensive. haha $24.95 -.- i can go buy 2 sets of streetwear already.

Then there's lego. In pri school, was totally like my bro's replacement lil brother. haha we built star wars ships, naval ships and bases etcetc with lego, played games with a whole new fantasy world built in (from scratch and imaginations) with a lego naval base/ships/etc against monsters with nukes/missiles and lots of tearing & smashing of lego buildings and tearing off lego people's heads. O.o HAHA cough. Oh and we filled 10 whole exercise books with drawings of weapons/swords/aircraft/guns (woa i still can't believe my bro is so imaginative, he can fill like a whole book with designs of diff guns of diff models with diff add-ons (scope/bayonet/etcetc) all with real names inspired from some other source) and invented a whole world where people had psychic powers and shizz. haha those were the days. And then the internet came along, and he stopped playing with me. TSK! hahaha and then i discovered it too, and now we talk about anime ~.~ and xbox games. But my bro watches weird anime :/ with one guy and many girls. (haha a total otaku) HAHA so not my type of show! TSK.

Of Funny Stuff:

In honour of the end of math! HAHA so funny.

ROFL some AJC person photoshopped e math paper XD

LOLOL.
Cultural Differences Noticed at the G20 meeting in Toronto ...
The Canadian: Self-absorbed and disconnected from reality.
The American: Businesslike, unwilling to be distracted.
The French and the Italian: "LOOK AT THAT ASS!"
HAHA.

Am currently watching some random french movie Bonjour Tristesse. But really can't understand the spoken french (seriously?? the language is MADE so that the french can purposely confuse outsiders and feel happy. LOL they even purposely speed up when they pronounce numbers... it's like a known fact, every single number, even in their news, is sped up... and their words must be purposely slurred and linked, so even if you study the language hard in written form, you'll still phail. grr coz the last letter of the preceding word is linked to the first syllable of the next word) So I'm reading the chinese subtitles below. HAHA -.-

Of Kpop:

WATCH omggggg. This Dance

Hahaha this is the practise dance for Hyuna's actual music video that was super (in)famous coz of the apparently slutty dance moves. But seriously, she's damn hot. I'm a girl, and i don't hate on the video like a whole bunch of people who have nothing better to do. Like seriously? If you have a complaint, take it up with the whole world encouraging this trend, not with the artist who is afterall, just making a living. Omgeee the dance is mega good. Hahaha WHY is hyuna so hot. And at least she can pull off the dance, you seriously need the curves to pull it off. whoosh. The actual mv is much more polished.... but the practise vid shows you how much work kpop artists need to put in everyday. Smiling, singing & dancing at the same time while trying not to let the audience hear you breathing hard? Peifu ttm. Comparatively... like some western artists like (*cough* like Rihanna), they stand on the stage and sing(sometimes offkey) in just attention grabbing get-ups.... Asians really work so hard. even the celebrities. But of course, bands are different, they actually play instruments and just sing. But like other artists who already are lambasted for trashy songs (just like kpop is sometimes), they seriously just bank on the sex appeal of their vids and their costumes, there isnt even dancing!!

Ok im done. whew that was a whole bunch. I really feel like relaxing abit today!
