so many things to do these days D: and there's not enough time for anything!!! grrr, guess im making up for all the mega-aimless-slackdom of the last few weeks.
wahhh, seriously, i've wanted to blog since 4 days ago and im so tired now D: (plus i still need to input all the data online for work but am not doing it in favour of blogging!)
friday was work training! my supervisor is a really nice lady!!! she's realllyyyy mega nice hahaha (and though she and her colleague/desk neighbour seemed super auntie right, wahh they're damn efficienttt) in about 15 minutes when they were back from lunch and i wasn't (because i got sent to take some random passport photos), they totally printed a whole bunch of street directory maps for me (for a lot of my locations) PLUS highlighted the block numbers :O efficient max! and so helpful!!
(my job as data collector for ministry of manpower.... need to go do the down&dirty work of doing personal visits to all the households who did not pick up their phonecalls and survey them for the Monthly Labour Force survey.... need to plan the route really well, then walkkkkkk alot between blocks of flats. because each block only has 1 unit you need to go to, but theblocks are all kinda spaced out over the map... plus some places are just 1 place in the middle of no other nearby assignments -.-)
haha saturday and sunday worked my ass off D: (weekend leh sadface)
saturday: walked almost an entire street directory page for pasir ris! D: walked from this block to that block of flats each place only got one unit... so essentially im travelling a whole bunch in between just to get from 1 house assignment to another D: damn it....
plus the condos/private houses all damnnnn ulu!! much much worse than the far-apart hdb flats from diff parts of pasir ris that i had to access. plus the new condos all damn tight security please! (lol or maybe my house the security just damn useless! haha they sit there and watch you walk in without asking you if you're a resident.... and our lifts no need password one) the new condos have crazyyy tight security, you come in, the guard asks you which unit you visiting, and then they call the unit owner to get permission... after you enter, you still must talk to the unit owner from the intercom AT the bottom of the lobby, then if they decide to let you in, then the lift will actually work. wahhhhhhhh. damn nice. my place is just like *walk in* hahhaha. no wonder that's why our shoes can sometimes get randomly stolen from outside sia.
okay, but tho private houses damn ulu, omg let's not even mention the terrace/bungalows that make you walk damn far innnnnn. haha BUT good part is that it takes less private estate visits to get 1 day's pay... oh yeaahhhh.
okay sunday i walked a whole part of bedok. the sun was damnnnnnnn freaking hot D: felt all my energy draining off. felt tired soooo much faster than usual. did less houses too hahahha.
at least, you appreciate the little things in life :) like when i was walking, found this overhead bridge over the PIE at bedok reservoir road SUPERRR unique! haha just a extraordinarily narrow single-lane concrete bridge but with white fencing at the side! pretty! hahaha though actually usually i wouldnt have thought twice about it, when you're bored and tired and sian, you feel happy looking at minor things! lol and i found a plant that bears some weird furry red fruit that looks like rambutans but is heart-shaped! haha cheap thrills!
today was an awesome day :D:D celebrated jack's bday with amos, chris and merv! haha we (w/o amos) went to the titanic exhibition at the art science museum in the morning! TSK the museum building (at MBS) totally looks like a broken egg shell lah D: but the bakas (heh xD) keep insisting it's a lotus!!!!!! hahaha. took pretty pictures along the helix bridge and along the river!!! super nice exhibition:) had a whole lot of fun pretending to be 1st/2nd class passengers! (tsk annoyingggg ppl who keep reminding me that the passenger ticket i got was a second-class passenger's one while theirs was first class!!) xD at the end, in the guestbook, jack signed something from captain jack sparrow about them not calling for him & the black pearl! LOL hahaha q. funny. the other funny posts there were like "From Rose: Jack, im sorry i didnt feel the same way... I'm quite glad you died" HAHAHA wah rofl and "From Jack: Rose, Y U NO LET ME GET ON THE FLOATING PLANK?" hahaha
later we all met amos (seriously i think his hair looks damn cool! hahaha gangstaa~), walked around MBS awhile, OMG the floating LV shop is like :O hahaha a lot of atas art pieces and display pieces of watches/clothes that take up very little space but still use up the whole shelf -.- (heh waste of display space... like "hey my store is so successful, i can waste space just. LIKE. THIS!!!"). spent A LONG TIME deciding where to eat.... (since when were guys so indecisive? XD and about food?? gasp.) then we ate at Astons at suntec!! :) i love astons! played jack's bday present from amos/chris/merv, this game called Citadels! omggggg quite a cool game xD im really very amazed at all the many wonderful new board/card games that are selling these days, and all of them are really complicated and well-made and fun to play! (and some quite evil... hehe gloom is damn cute). oh and we all ate merv's donuts (made from home), they were really good XD
the only thing annoying was that OMGGGG the people who i house-visited and werent in then, all started calling me back today??? I was so free for the prev few days stoning around after working and NONE called.... but as the Law of Murphy requires, the moment i go out today and am happily hoping no one will call me, EVERYONE starts calling me back. amagad. i did 2 telephone surveys in the titanic museum, and another outside Astons on the steps, and another on my way home -.-
hehe but nvm, hopefully im earning good money, and i had a wonderful day spent with wonderful people :) ♥♥
ahhh i just realised i forgot to take a picture of my drawing D: i always take pictures of the finished product, just so that i can see if i'm improving through the years haha :)
and... once again, happy bday jack! :D (edit: just pretend this post was posted before 12 am HAHA)
