Death takes on such a real face when you keep hearing of sad things happening to people your age, people who went to the same school barely a few years earlier, people who you'd think would have their entire lives stretching out brilliantly before them in their youth but having it taken away from them one fateful day.
Didn't know Mingwei was in Archery (batch 06-07) until i read the email from her batchmates to archers in general asking for any messages or condolences to be conveyed to her family. And her classmates are compiling something like that as well for her family.... namely her RJC classmates as well as her RGS and Primary School classmates... I think it's nice that they all have come together to rally around in the memory of their friend.. really touching... hope the family will feel the well wishes and feelings conveyed. and hopefully mingwei will rest much more in peace in the loving memory of her friends! must be damn shocking too. like how the heck can a double decker bus drag someone 2 kilometres also! D: omg. if the driver was drunk or something....
life is temporal and fleeting.
must live life and treasure it! :) best to not leave behind regrets and what ifs :)
