haha treated my dad to waffles and icecream this afternoon as part of a father's day present that he insists on getting -.- haha! he was hinting at it the WHOLE of sunday! And we wanted to go Gelare (where the waffles are so OMGFREAKING GOOD) so me being the cheapo said that i'd treat him on tuesday as there's a 50% discount XD *heyy i am a student without very much monayye XD*
BUT anw sadly the Gelare in siglap CLOSED DOWN. wth! It's been there so many years when we've always been eyeing and wanting to eat their waffles but never got to, anddddd finally when we GET to go, it moved off BLEHH. so anyway we went to this other cafe that had waffles and icecream! The waffles was quite nice, big, fluffy moderately crispy and the chocolate sauce and rich icecream was DAMN GOOD!
but anyway we unsuspectingly asked for cold water and they gave it to us... but when we left the shop nn checked the receipt, we REALISED the bloody cold water was charged to our bill OMGWTH right? it was 40cents for two puny glasses of water that WASNT cold and whats the worst part was that i didnt even DRINK mine coz there was a HAIR in it. -.- HAHA. wth!
and the service -.-. haha everytime the girl brought something, i'd say thank you! and then they'd be like *silent*. wth and im the customer and I'M THE ONE SAYING THANK YOU??
gah. but anyway, happieee to eat waffles today XD though im paying T.T. and my mum is making me feel bad coz she's been exercising ALOT more than me recently nn eating less and she went to the gym while i went to pig out with dad on waffles. OMGGGG ahhhh.
